<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The study aims to generalize and systematize information obtained from the literature of 10 years from the MEDLINE, PubMed, eLIBRARY.RU, and RISC databases about additional markers of glycemic control in gestationaldiabetes mellitus for evaluation of its effectiveness and treatment correction. The review article included 22 literature sources out of 156 analyzed publications on the issue. There is not enough research available on such markers as fructosamine, glycated albumin, and 1.5-anhydroglucitol. Therefore, it is required to study and implement them into practice further on in order to optimize the treatment and manage pregnancies with gestational diabetes mellitus.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>гестационный сахарный диабет</kwd><kwd>фруктозамин</kwd><kwd>гликированный гемоглобин</kwd><kwd>гликированный альбумин</kwd><kwd>1</kwd><kwd>5-ангидроглюцитол</kwd><kwd>избыточный рост плода</kwd><kwd>гипергликемия</kwd><kwd>гликемический контроль</kwd><kwd>инсулин</kwd><kwd>осложнения беременности</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>gestational diabetes mellitus</kwd><kwd>fructosamine</kwd><kwd>glycated hemoglobin</kwd><kwd>glycated albumin</kwd><kwd>1.5-anhydroglucitol</kwd><kwd>excessive fetal growth</kwd><kwd>hyperglycemia</kwd><kwd>glycemic control</kwd><kwd>insulin</kwd><kwd>pregnancy complications</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Dias S., Pheiffer C., Abrahams Y. et al.
