<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The study aims to investigate the modern possibilities for psoriasis therapy using genetic engineering biological drugs. Materials and methods. The main meta-analyses on modern methods of treating moderate and severe psoriasis over the past 10 years have been examined. The most effective and safe biological drugs, as well as the features of their prescriptions for various concomitant conditions, have been identified. Results. Long-term use of biological drugs was evaluated and found to be relatively safe. Due to the potentially higher risks of malignancy and infection in biological therapy, biological drugs must be prescribed strictly according to concomitant conditions. There is insufficient evidence that biological drugs have a negative impact on the progression of concomitant diseases.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>псориаз</kwd><kwd>генно-инженерные препараты</kwd><kwd>биологическая терапия</kwd><kwd>интерлейкины</kwd><kwd>ингибиторы ФНО-α</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>psoriasis</kwd><kwd>genetic engineering</kwd><kwd>biological therapy</kwd><kwd>interleukins</kwd><kwd>TNF-α inhibitors</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Федеральная служба государственной статистики.
