Материал и методы. Проведен анализ научной литературы на русском и английском языках с использованием базданных PubMed, MEDLINE, Medscape и eLIBRARY с глубиной поиска 6 лет. Выявлено 56 публикаций, из которых в анализ включено 14. Результаты. В структуре заболеваемости детского населения одно из ведущих мест среди гнойно-воспалительных процессов занимает острый гематогенный остеомиелит. Успехи в лечении данного заболевания выразились в снижении летальности детей с 45,0 % до 8,4 %, однако число рецидивов и осложнений достигает 68,0 %. Переход острого процесса в подострую и хроническую стадии составляет около 40,6 % и представляет собой качественно новое заболевание с развитием тяжелых ортопедических осложнений. Доля осложнений острого гематогенного остеомиелита, которые включают нарушение роста в длину различных сегментов конечностей, варьируется от 3,0 % до 6,0 %, что обусловлено поражением зон роста и развитием ортопедических осложнений.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"/><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>рентгенография</kwd><kwd>компьютерная томография</kwd><kwd>магнитно-резонансная томография</kwd><kwd>томосинтез</kwd><kwd>остеомиелит</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>radiography</kwd><kwd>computed tomography</kwd><kwd>magnetic resonance imaging</kwd><kwd>tomosynthesis</kwd><kwd>osteomyelitis</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Румянцева Г.
